In a week when there has been so much controversy regarding festival headliners, it is nice to see that Green Man have got their final bill topper spot on.
The Welsh extravaganza – which takes place in the Hay on Wye area of the country – has revealed that oddball indie legends Super Furry Animals will close the main stage on the Saturday night of the festival.
The news comes just a few weeks after Gruff Ryhs and co announced they were getting back together after something of a hiatus to embark on a tour to celebrate the re-issue of the seminal album, Mwng.
Super Furry Animals will join previously announced headliners Hot Chip and St Vincent, as well as a host of other Far Out favourites including The Fall, Courtney Barnett, Hookworms, Viet Cong and BC Camplight.
Across the weekend lucky ticket holders can also expect to catch Slowdive, Televison, Goat, Calexico, Public Service Broadcasting, Charles Bradley, Temples, Father John Misty and many, many more.
Tickets for the whole weekend and individual days are still available via the Green Man website, so get them while you can.
