Emmy Awards 2024: The full list of winners

The most celebrated night in television saw the stars of the screen descend on Los Angeles at the Peacock Theater for the Emmy Awards 2024. The 76th incarnation of the ceremony saw works like Shōgun and Baby Reindeer take home major awards.

The long-running event champions the best television of the last 12 months. HBO’s The Bear led the way on the nominations front with a whopping 23 in total, surpassing the previous record for a comedy series. However, it had stiff competition in the form of the hit Disney+ show Only Murders In The Building.

The 76th edition arrives just eight months after 2023’s ceremony which was delayed owing to the writer’s strike. It was hosted by Dan and Eugene Levy, who won a string of Emmys themselves four years back thanks to their involved in the celebrated sitcom, Schitt’s Creek.

Succession’s Sarah Snook, Abbott Elementary’s Janelle James and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel star Rachel Brosnahan were all in attendance to see the likes of Hacks bring home big awards in their respective categories.

One of the big winners on the night was Shōgun, which picked up a whopping number of awards across major categories on the night. The show stars Hiroyuki Sanada in the lead and captures a unique period of Japanese history, garnering the attention of massive global audiences.
