Eagles add six new shows to Las Vegas Sphere residency
The Eagles have added another six days onto their record-breaking residency at the iconic Las Vegas venue, the Sphere.
Though the iconic band began their lengthy run of dates in Sin City on September 30th, 2024, they are set to take to the very same stage over two years later while serving the very same residency.
The run has been extended on multiple occasions due to demand, and will now see them perform until the end of November 2026.
Taking to social media, the ‘Hotel California’ icons announced six new dates slated for later this year. The shows will take place over three weekends: September 18th and 19th, November 13th and 14th, and November 27th and 28th.
The added dates bring the Eagles’ Sphere show total up to 64, making it the venue’s longest-running residency to date.
The long-standing musicians are in the process of bowing out: As such, they added a handful of dates to their final run in February, unveiling this new segment of live shows titled ‘The Long Goodbye, Act III’.
The Eagles have been in the process of retiring for three years now. When they announced their intention to retire in 2023, they shared wistfully, “The Eagles have had a miraculous 52-year odyssey, performing for people all over the globe; keeping the music alive in the face of tragic losses, upheavals and setbacks of many kinds.”
Since then, Don Henley has all but confirmed that 2026 marks the last year of touring for the Eagles. In an interview, he shared, “I’m OK with [the end]. Because I would like to spend more time with my family, and I would like to spend more time growing vegetables.”
The band played their first Las Vegas show outside of Sin City since 2024 at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival on May 2nd. Their next live performance will take place in Atlanta on May 5th.
