Eagles extend farewell residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas into 2026

Eagles have extended their residency at the Las Vegas Sphere into 2026 with the announcement of further shows.

Their run of dates at the world’s most expensive music venue began on September 30th, 2024, and has been extended on multiple occasions due to demand. Following the latest extension, it will encompass 48 shows in total.

The new dates at the Las Vegas Sphere are January 23rd, January 24th, January 30th and January 31st, with all concerts either falling on a Friday or Saturday. Ticket prices begin at $175, including fees and booking costs.

Eagles recently returned to the Sphere on September 5th and September 6th for the first time in five months. They have further shows planned this year at the venue throughout October and November, before their 2026 set of dates.

They initially began their The Long Goodbye farewell tour in 2023, which is now set to continue into 2026. At the time, they said of their decision to retire: “The Eagles have had a miraculous 52-year odyssey, performing for people all over the globe; keeping the music alive in the face of tragic losses, upheavals and setbacks of many kinds.”

Their statement continued: “Credit and thanks go to our longtime management team, our dedicated road crew, and our exceptional backup musicians for providing skilled and steadfast support, throughout these many years. We know how fortunate we are, and we are truly grateful. Our long run has lasted far longer than any of us ever dreamed. But, everything has its time, and the time has come for us to close the circle.”

Tickets for their newly announced shows at The Sphere in 2026 are set to go on sale on September 19th at 10am PT.

Meanwhile, last month, Metallica’s Robert Trujillo responded to speculation that his band were set for a residency at the Sphere, stating, “You know, when we have talked about it, we’ve met, had meetings about it. And I’m already thinking like, imagine this, imagine that, because Metallica’s music is so visual.”
