DIIV’s Zachary Cole Smith covers Sparklehorse’s ‘Cow’
Zachary Cole Smith, the frontman of New York City shoegaze band DIIV, has covered Sparklehorse song ‘Cow’.
The original track first appeared on Sparklehorse’s 1995 debut record Vivadixiesubmarinetransmissionplot. Smith, who shared his cover version on Twitter earlier today, will also play a one-off show in New York this August to feature new music and a series of covers.
The new Sparklehorse offering features Chris Cohen (Deerhoof, Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti) on the drums and Benji Lysaght if Ambulance LTD on guitar.
