DIIV share stunning new animated video for ‘The Spark’

Our favourite Brooklynites DIIV have shared a brand new video for their Deceiver cut ‘The Spark’. One of the best visuals of the year.

In a stunning new animated video, DIIV give their new clip for ‘The Spark’ an animated twist as they show pictures of close friends being hacked with swirling colour.

As well as a group of close friends being included in the images for the video, there is of course, some special shots of lead singer Zachary Cole Smith’s fianceé Dani who just so happens to be the subject of the track.

The visuals naturally match the song’s lullaby tones, expertly edited and animated by Ruff Mercy, it’s a dreamy combination of sound and vision.

In keeping with the band’s 2019 LP, the song is a delicately poised and reflective number, enchanted by the track’s softer sentiment. The band will be going out on a UK and European tour next month, the dates of which you can find below.
