Cynthia Erivo’s insures her mouth for $2million

The mouth of British actor and singer Cynthia Erivo has been insured for $ million by Listerine, as part of a new partnership that brings the two together for greater mouthcare by all.

“Oral care has always been an important part of my self-care routine,” Erivo reflected in a press statement for the new Wash Your Mouth campaign.

She continued, “What I love about partnering with Listerine is that they are committed to making sure a basic daily routine is executed thoroughly. Brushing and flossing is important, and with the final touch of using Listerine Total Care Alcohol Free mouthwash, I know my mouth is super clean and that means I really am ready for anything.”

Kamran Shahzad, the US Head of Commercial at Oral Care commented, “We’re ecstatic to collaborate with the iconic Cynthia Erivo to help consumers recognise the importance of mouthwash.”

Shahzad added, “Together with Cynthia, we’re making a bold move to help protect one of the most recognisable mouths in Hollywood because we’re confident that Listerine guarantees a healthier mouth.”

In the 30-second clip as part of the campaign, Erivo says, “Routine. It starts with a single moment that repeats until it becomes something. It’s in the way I move, the way I breathe…” She dances gracefully to a backdrop of lilacs and silvers.

“The way I wash my mouth,” she concludes, as the clip cuts to the Wicked star wearing a dressing gown that matches the colour of the purple liquid. She pours herself a dose of the mouthwash and looks back at the camera to smirk, “What? No routine is complete without it.”

Erivo is known for her work on stage and screen. Most recently, she wowed critics in the role of Elphaba Thropp in the film adaptation of Wicked, which she played alongside fellow singer Ariana Grande. The incredible notes she was able to hit across the soundtrack surely helped increase the worth of her mouth.

Erivo has also won a Tony Award, a Daytime Emmy Award, and a Grammy Award.
