Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly plotting drama series with Damien Lewis

Footballer Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly set to move into the world of drama with a project starring Damien Lewis in the works.

The series is close to home for the Portuguese superstar, as it is set in the world of football, with Lewis set to portray a fictional agent.

According to The Sun, the former Manchester United and Real Madrid star is an executive producer on the series, which will also see him appear.

Filming has reportedly already begun, with Lewis shooting at The Hive Stadium, the home of League Two side Barnet FC, in North London last week.

Former Arsenal and Barcelona player Thierry Henry and Mercury-winning rapper Dave are set to appear in the series, which has been titled Day 1s. Carlotta Banat is also part of the cast.

Lewis will portray the fictional agent Stanley Dalton in the series.

It has been derived from a concept by real-life football agent Darren Dein, who has worked with Henry and even served as his best man.

Day 1s comes courtesy of Ronaldo’s studio, UR MARV, with Kingsman director Matthew Vaughn, which was announced in 2025.

When the studio was announced, Portugal’s all-time leading goalscorer said in a statement: “This is an exciting chapter for me, as I look ahead to new ventures in business.”

Meanwhile, Vaughn added, “Cristiano has created stories on the pitch that I could never have written, and I look forward to creating inspiring movies with him – he’s a real-life superhero.”

While Ronaldo, who is now 41, is attempting to make waves in the world of films and television with UR MARV, he’s still an active footballer who represented Portugal at the recent World Cup and playing for Al Nassr in the Saudi Pro League.
