Brit Awards: Robbie Williams to lead all-star Ozzy Osbourne tribute
Robbie Williams will front an all-star band at this year’s Brit Awards, leading a tribute to the late Ozzy Osbourne.
The performance will be in honour of the metal icon, who tragically passed away last July at the age of 76 from a cardiac arrest after suffering from Parkinson’s Disease.
At the annual Brit Awards ceremony, slated for February 28th in Manchester, Osbourne’s remarkable legacy will be recognised with a ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’.
Ozzy’s wife, Sharon Osbourne, has curated the special performance to be fronted by the ‘Angels’ singer. It will feature a unique arrangement of Osbourne’s 1991 song, ‘No More Tears’.
Musicians who previously played with the late singer-songwriter will be invited to join the stage. This will include keyboardist Adam Wakeman, Metallica’s Robert Trujillo, drummer Tommy Clufetos, and guitarist Zakk Wylde.
The chairwoman of the 2026 Brit Awards committee, Stacey Tang, has praised Osbourne’s legacy, sharing, “Ozzy Osbourne has been a mighty force in modern music.”
She added that the Birmingham-born musician “reshaped the sound and spirit of rock, inspiring generations of artists who followed. This lifetime achievement award recognises a remarkable legacy built on originality and enduring influence that continues to connect with fans worldwide.”
Other confirmed winners on the night include Oasis icon Noel Gallagher, who will be heading home to Manchester to collect his award for ‘Songwriter of the Year’.
Additionally, Mark Ronson is to be honoured with ‘Outstanding Contribution to Music’ and Jacob Alon was previously named the ‘Critics’ Choice’ winner.
Though Williams’ tribute will close out the ceremony, plenty of performers are set to take to the stage beforehand, including Raye, Harry Styles, Olivia Dean, Wolf Alice, EJAE, Audrey Nuna and REI AMI, the singing voices of HUNTR/X, Alex Warren, Mark Ronson, ROSALÍA and SOMBR.
Jack Whitehall will host the ceremony on February 28th, which will also be shown on ITV 1 and ITV X.
