Brit Awards 2025: The full winners list
The Brit Awards has returned for the 45th annual occasion with comedian Jack Whitehall overseeing the prestigious event at London’s O2 Arena for the fifth occasion.
Over the course of the night, the Brits are set to welcome performances from a wide range of nominees, including Sam Fender, Sabrina Carpenter, The Last Dinner Party, Jade, Ezra Collective with Jorja Smith, Teddy Swims, and Lola Young.
In addition to Carpenter performing at the Brits, she is a nominee for ‘International Song of the Year’ and ‘International Artist of the Year’ and will also receive the ‘Global Success’ award. In doing so, the ‘Espresso’ singer will become the first international artist to win the prize, following previous recipients Ed Sheeran, Adele, Sam Smith, and One Direction. Myles Smith has also been crowned ‘Brits Rising Star’.
Charli XCX is the most nominated artist at this year’s ceremony. In addition to being shortlisted in the ‘Song of the Year’ category, her album, Brat, has been nominated for ‘Album of the Year’. Charli is also up for ‘Artist of the Year’, ‘Pop Act’ and ‘Dance Act’. She was previously announced as the winner of the ‘Songwriter of the Year’ award too.
Meanwhile, The Last Dinner Party are trailing Charli XCX behind with four nominations. The indie band, who were crowned with the ‘Rising Star’ award in 2024, have been nominated for ‘Group of the Year’, ‘Best New Artist’, ‘Album of the Year’ and ‘Alternative/Rock Act’.
Significantly, The Beatles are also nominated for their first Brit Award since 1983 with their 2023 single, ‘Now and Then’. The Fab Four’s farewell track is shortlisted in the ‘Song of the Year’ category. Other notable nominees include Coldplay with ‘Feels Like I’m Falling in Love’, Dua Lipa with ‘Training Season’, Charli XCX and Billie Eilish’s ‘Guess’, Jade’s ‘Angel of My Dreams’ and ‘Backbone’ by Chase and Status with Stormzy.
The Brit Awards will be broadcast live on ITV at 8:15 p.m. and live-streamed on YouTube for viewers outside the United Kingdom.
