Brit Awards 2025: The complete list of nominations

Back for its 45th annual awards, the 2025 Brit Awards nominations have been announced on January 23rd in London. Celebrating the best of British and international talent, the awards’ nominees list recognises the last twelve months in music.

The nominees for the 16 awards have been unveiled ahead of the ceremony on March 1st, set to take place at the O2 Arena in London. The annual prize celebrates rock, R&B, dance, hip-hop, and pop music. The major categories include ‘Best New Artist’, ‘British Song of the Year’, ‘International Song of the Year’, and the coveted ‘Album of the Year’.

In 2024, Raye swept the awards as she took home six of the seven awards she was nominated for. This year, Charli XCX is racing ahead of the pack with five nominations, including Brat being shortlisted for ‘Album of the Year’.

In the category of ‘Best New Artist’, looking to take home the prize for the most promising up-and-comer, The Last Dinner Party, are battling it out with English Teacher and Ezra Collective, among others. However, one winner has already been revealed, Myles Smith, who was announced in December as the recipient of the prestigious Rising Star award.

The winners of the other prizes will be announced in a live ceremony on March 1st, 2025. The ceremony will include performances from nominated artists and be hosted by Jack Whitehall, who said following the announcement of his involvement, “It is my favourite night of the year, and I am delighted to be back to host in 2025.”

The event will take place at the O2 Arena in London and be broadcast live on ITV1 and ITVX. See the full list of nominations below.
