Brit Awards 2021: The full list of nominees

The complete list of nominees for the BRIT Awards 2021 has been announced, with Arlo Parks and Yungblud receiving nods.

This year’s awards are three months later than they would be during a traditional year, with the Brit’s moving from its usual slot in February. However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, organisers have pushed it back three months until May 11th. The event is hosted once more by Jack Whitehall and held at the O2 Arena in London.

The nominees were announced by BBC Radio 1 drivetime presenter Nick Grimshaw alongside BRITs Rising Star winner Griff during a live-streamed online show.

“I have watched the BRITs every year since I can remember,” Yunglud said in reaction to the news. “It’s what makes the British music scene so rock n roll. I would watch Oasis and the Arctic Monkeys cause trouble and I always wanted to be there, and now to be nominated is mental!!!”

Meanwhile, Parks wrote on Twitter: “All I know is that I wouldn’t be here without my team, my family, every single person who’s played my tunes in their cars, bedrooms, kitchens & living rooms.”
