Yungblud reveals he’s hired a fan to help with social media

In a recent interview, pop-rock singer Yungblud revealed that he has hired a fan to help run his social accounts and ensure he is in constant contact with his fan base.

The singer, whose real name is Dominic Harrison, has two number-one albums under his belt and recently released his new single ‘Lovesick Lullaby’. It follows ‘Hello Heaven, Hello’, a nine-minute track that kickstarted Harrison’s new era last month.

Speaking to the BBC, Harrison has praised the community of fans he has built, stating he takes this job so seriously that he’s even hired a fan to ensure the work is done properly.

“She’s called Jules Budd,” he revealed. “She used to come to my gigs in Austin and she’d sell confetti to pay for gas money to the next city.”

He continued: “She built an account called Yungblud Army, and she’s amazing at letting me understand what are people feeling. If people are outside and security aren’t treating them right, I know about it because she’s in contact with them.”

He concluded: “I brought her in to make the community safer as it gets bigger.”

Recently, Yungblud’s relationship with his fan base was the topic of a viral video. While leaving a hotel in Amsterdam in March, the singer was approached by a crying fan. “You saved my life,” she sobbed.

Quietly but with conviction, Yungblud replied, “No, you saved your own life. Maybe the music was the soundtrack, but you saved your own life, OK?” He then lent in for a hug and added, “Don’t be sad; be happy. I love you.”

This summer, Yungblud will bring his fans together for his one-day festival, Bludfest, which will return for a second year running at Milton Keynes Bowl with other acts including Chase Atlantic and Denzel Curry.
