Wolf Alice tease fourth album with cryptic posts and new logo

Wolf Alice are seemingly preparing to return after sharing cryptic posts and changing their logo on the band’s official website.

The last time Wolf Alice performed a major concert was in 2022, when they wrapped up their European tour in late 2022 which came after a successful festival season, including a Pyramid Stage appearance at Glastonbury Festival.

Speculation surrounding their comeback was ignited in March when it was revealed that Wolf Alice would be returning to Glastonbury this summer. They have also since been confirmed for BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend at Sefton Park in Liverpool next month alongside the likes of Sam Fender, Haim, Biffy Clyro, and Mumford and Sons.

Now, Wolf Alice updated their social media accounts on April 16th and directed fans to visit their website, which then asks users to insert a password. Those who have successfully navigated their way through the system report that it takes them to a site named ‘Bloom – Wolf Alice’.

While the meaning of ‘Bloom’ is unconfirmed, it’s likely to be the title of their fourth album or comeback single. Beneath the logo, a message reads, “Every flower needs to neighbour with the dirt.”

Vocalist Ellie Rowsell has since taken to Instagram to share a gallery of flowers with the caption, “Spring is springing, and things are blooming.” In her post, she also used a number of sunflower emojis, which guitarist Theo Ellis has additionally posted on his personal X account.

Wolf Alice’s last album, 2021’s Blue Weekend, became their first number one album in the UK and was also nominated for the Mercury Prize, which they previously won in 2018 for Visions of a Life.

More information is expected to arrive on Wolf Alice’s impending return in the near future.
