Glastonbury 2025: The full line-up revealed with The 1975, Neil Young and Olivia Rodrigo to headline
With Glastonbury Festival set to take place in three months, it has been announced who will be performing at Worthy Farm in June with Neil Young, The 1975, and Olivia Rodrigo set to headline.
Notable acts set to perform at Glastonbury Festival include Charli XCX, who is set to headline The Other Stage. Loyle Carner and The Prodigy will also headline The Other Stage across the weekend with Carner set to take to the stage on the Friday while The 1975 headline the Pyramid, Charli XCX will be pitted against Neil Young on the Saturday and The Prodigy will clash with Olivia Rodrigo on the final day of the event.
Additionally, Alanis Morissette, Biffy Clyro, Deftones, Noah Kahan, Busta Rhymes, John Fogerty, Raye, Doechii, Ezra Collective, The Libertines, Wet Leg and Father John Misty will all perform.
Significantly, Raye will perform on The Pyramid Stage before Young graces the stage on the Saturday which will act as an audition for a future headline set. Other intriguing additions include Wolf Alice who are set to end their hiatus at Glastonbury after previously wrapping up their last tour at Worthy Farm in 2022.
The Maccabees are set to return to Glastonbury. Their reunion will get underway this summer with a set of European dates after they split in 2017 before they take on Glastonbury and also headline All Points East at the end of August.
Young was revealed as the first headliner in January after he took to his website to withdraw from Glastonbury, despite not having been announced at that stage, and subsequently pulling a U-turn. He initially cited the BBC and “corporate control” as his reasons for pulling out.
However, Young later reversed the decision, explaining, “Due to an error in the information received, I had decided to not play the Glastonbury festival, which I always have loved. Happily, the festival is now back on our itinerary and we look forward to playing! Hope to see you there!”
Rod Stewart was the first act to be announced for the 2025 event. Stewart previously headlined the Pyramid Stage in 2002, and this year’s performance will make Glastonbury history due to him being the first headliner to return in the legends slot.
Stewart claimed to TalkSPORT that he’s set to lose money by playing Worthy Farm, stating, “It’s going to cost me a fortune to do it – $300,0000. I’ve got to bring all my band back from America, of course Glastonbury don’t pay for that. But I don’t care if it cost me $1 million, I would have done it. This is a great honour. It really is the greatest honour.”
