Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy announces solo tour with Case Oats

Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy has announced a new round of solo shows this October and November, where Case Oates will join him.

Tweedy, whose last release was the impressive 30-track triple album, Twilight Override, released in September last year, continues to support the sprawling release on the road.

The Wilco superstar, who already had an appearance at Shoals Festival scheduled for October 4th, will kick off the run of solo dates in Three Oaks, at The Acorn on October 20th.

From there, he will visit Kent, Rochester, and Ithaca, before two shows in Woodstock at Bearsville Theatre and a follow-up New York City show at Town Hall on October 28th.

Tweedy will then appear at Great Barrington, Groton, Providence, Carmel, and Davenport, before jetting off for four solo Irish shows to end the month.

Throughout the newly announced dates, the dazzling frontman will be joined by Cae Oats, the duo consisting of his son, Spencer Tweedy, and Casey Gomez.

Tweedy has a busy year; Wilco are also about to begin the next leg of their summer tour, including a huge show at New York’s Forest Hills Stadium on June 20th alongside Yo La Tengo.

They will also headline Wales’ Green Man Festival, alongside other headliners Wolf Alice, Mogwai, and Four Tet.
