Green Man unveils 2026 lineup including Wolf Alice, Mogwai and Four Tet
Green Man Festival has unveiled the first wave of artists set to perform in the Welsh mountains this August, including headliners Wolf Alice, Mogwai, Wilco, and Four Tet.
Once again, the festival in Bannau Brycheiniog National Park sold out, with all tickets for the forthcoming edition sold out on the day of release.
Scottish post-rockers Mogwai will headline Thursday night, backed up by indie four-piece Lime Garden, as well as CVC, Art School Girlfriend, Charlotte Church’s Pop Dungeon, and Userband.
Wilco will headline Friday night, supported by the likes of The New Eves, Aldous Harding, Baxter Dury, Dry Cleaning, Shame, high-energy returners Getdown Services, Smerz, Sprints, My New Band Believe, and Westside Cowboy.
Four Tet, who played at the festival in 2004, 2009 and 2019, will return to headline a stacked list including The Beta Band, Cate Le Bon, Nation of Language, Mannequin Pussy, Sorry, Daniel Avery (Live), Haley Heynderickx, Horsegirl, Ben UFO, The Belair Lip Bombs, The Bug Club, Tamikrest, Ulrika Spacek, and many others.
Brits-winners Wolf Alice will headline on Sunday, following on from the likes of Cat Power, Sparks, alt-country five-piece Wednesday, Anna Calvi, The Beths, Fcukers, Tricky, Scientist, Everything Is Recorded, Roni Size, and Panic Shack.
Green Man 2026 is due to take place from 20th to 23rd August. Notably, it is the only large festival to refuse sponsorship. Therefore, programming freedom is retained by curators, and independent Welsh food & beverage producers can showcase and sell their produce to new customers
Last year, headliners included CMAT, MJ Lenderman, Wunderhorse, Wet Leg, Panda Bear, and more. Far Out were on the ground and tracked all of the mayhem of the euphoric weekend; in a glowing review, we observed, “Green Man brings the best out of music, and the best out of us: we must hold onto it, and learn from it before it is too late.”
