Watch Vampire Weekend cover Paul Simon


Vampire Weekend rolled out a cover version of Paul Simon song ‘Late in the Evening’ while performing in London.

The show, taking place at Islington Assembly Hall, marks the band’s first performance of the Simon song which originally appeared on his fifth studio album, One-Trick Pony, which was released in 1980.

In a string of intimate shows in the UK, Vampire Weekend also performed their own version of Bruce Springsteen’s song Born in the US and, as fans will of the band know, Ezra Koenig and Co. rolled back the years by again covering Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Everywhere’.

The shows come as Fleetwood Mac ramp up the anticipation for their impending new album Father of the Bride which will be released in May.
