Unique footage of Oasis performing ‘Live Forever’ at Lowlands Festival in 1994

Now easily regarded as one of the biggest bands of the 1990s, Oasis always had a habit of knocking it out of the park when it comes to a live performances. Here, we go back to August 1994 and see the Gallagher smash out a brilliant version of ‘Live Forever’ at the second edition of the Lowlands Festival.

The festival is now one of the stand-out dates on the festival circuit, but in 1994, Lowlands was a relative newbie. However, in only the second edition, the festival managed to pull in one of the biggest bands on the planet: Oasis.

The footage below sees a unique view of the band. We may be familiar with the site of Liam Gallagher strutting across the stage with his usual swagger, but this video is filmed backstage. Instead, we get a view of what Oasis themselves would’ve seen when performing.

With that said, we do still get a taste of the fervour surrounding the band at this time. In 1994 there was no better band around, and this performance of their seminal hit ‘Live Forever’ is a testament to that. Watch it below.
