Watch Toyah Willcox and Robert Fripp raunchy cover of XYZ classic in latest ‘Sunday Lunch’ video

Toyah Willcox and Robert Fripp have returned with an explicit take on the classic XYZ track, ‘Nice Day to Die’, on their latest Sunday Lunch installment.

The husband and wife duo began their online series on YouTube half a decade ago. The channel, known for weekly wacky takes on classic tracks, was updated on November 2nd with the new installment. In their latest episode, the duo get spooky with their ‘Nice Day to Die’ cover.

Seeming to experiment with digital tricks, the duo spawned out of thin air while beginning the pummelling rock track. Willcox begins singing, dressed in a leopard print suit and wearing a visor that hides most of her face. Eventually, she removes the visor and sings into a fan that blows her hair back cinematically.

Near the end of the clip, Willcox unzips her suit to show a photograph of Fripp’s face that covers her chest. She holds onto the piece of paper while finishing the short cover.

“Welcome to Toyah and Robert’s Scary Sunday Lunch,” Fripp says, while his eyes set ablaze with a digital effect. His wife then grabs his face and plunges it into her suit, as Fripp yells “Oh! Oh! Oh!” and his wife wishes the viewer a “Happy Halloween!”

In a similar move, the pair also covered the iconic Cream hit ‘Sunshine of Your Love’. Taking the name of the band literally, Willcox poured pots of single cream on her body and her hair, before embracing her husband at the end of the performance, covering him in the mess.

Last week, the pair delighted us with another Halloween special when they covered the AC/DC hit, ‘Highway to Hell’ for a “really frightening and incredibly scary Sunday Lunch” episode.

Despite jesting gleefully with his wife, the star recently revealed that he had suffered a heart attack back in May and had been forced to postpone all work commitments. Meanwhile, Willcox has begun a solo tour of the UK, which started in London on October 18th.
