Watch the trailer for the final season of ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’
The trailer for the 12th and final season of Curb Your Enthusiasm has been released by HBO, giving fans their first glimpse into the long-awaited series starring Larry David.
Recently confirming plans to make the upcoming season his last, David recently wrote in a statement: “As ‘Curb’ comes to an end, I will now have the opportunity to finally shed this ‘Larry David’ persona and become the person God intended me to be – the thoughtful, kind, caring, considerate human being I was until I got derailed by portraying this malignant character”.
His onscreen portrayal of a fictionalised version of himself has seen the series nominated for 51 Emmy nominations from 2000-2022, winning on two occasions along the way.
The final season of the show will feature ten more episodes and promises to follow David as an over-the-top version of himself navigating Hollywood. Spanning almost 25 years, making it one of HBO’s most long-running series, Curb Your Enthusiasm is considered to be one of the funniest comedy series of the 21st century.
Adding her own thoughts on seeing the show leave TV screens, HBO CEO Casey Bloys said in a statement: “It’s hard to say farewell to such a ground-breaking, brilliantly funny and iconic series like Curb Your Enthusiasm, which has left its mark across television and the comedy genre”.
Continuing, she added, “Working alongside Larry David and Jeff Schaffer as well as all of the comedic masterminds that comprise our producers, cast and crew has been a joy that I will always treasure”.
Episodes of the much-beloved comedy will premiere weekly, with the series finale broadcast on April 7th. Watch the trailer for the final season of Curb Your Enthusiasm below, which is due to feature appearances from the likes of regular series actors Ted Danson, Vince Vaughn, Dana Lee and Susie Essman.
