Sunderland outfit SLUG have performed their track ‘Greasy Mind’ on All Shook Up TV in the run-up to the release of their debut album RIPE, out on Memphis Industries.
The project fronted by former Field Music bassist Ian Black caught Far Out’s attention a few months ago now with debut single ‘Cockeyed Rabbit Wrapped in Plastic’.
Following that SLUG took our Track of the Day slot with the next release ‘Running to Get Past Your Heart’, before unveiling ‘Greasy Mind’ a couple of weeks ago.
The latest performance was hosted by Marc Riley as part of a show that also included live tracks from The Wave Pictures and Warp Records signee Lonelady.
As well as Black, the live band also included his former bandmates Peter and David Brewis, the duo who founded Field Music, The Week That Was and School of Language.
