POND the sometimes insane but always impressive band led by Nicholas Allbrook have delivered the only song you need for your day. An epically trippy and poptastic cover of Madonna’s 1998 classic ‘Ray of Light’ for Triple J.

As part of the radio station’s brilliant feature ‘Like A Version’ the band have produced a quite astounding cover of the Madge stonker. POND, which features two Tame Impala alumni in the outfit has turned the track into a psyched-out blast from a ray-gun.

The Tame Impala connection doesn’t end there with Kevin Parker taking the helm behind the mixing desk on the band’s recent LP Tasmania, capturing the band’s beautiful madness. This cover of Madonna’s hit is just another show of their artistry.
