Watch Clairo, St. Vincent and more live at Ally Coalition fundraiser

Jack Antonoff invited Clairo, Bleachers, St. Vincent, Jason Isbell, and several other artists to the stage earlier this week at the ninth annual Ally Coalition Talent Show. Watch footage from the performances below.

This year, the highly anticipated event occurred on December 19th. Host Jack Antonoff founded the popular fundraiser in 2015 alongside his sister Rachel, donating proceeds to The Ally Coalition. The charity supports the young LGBTQ+ community.

This year, the Antonoffs invited Clairo, St. Vincent, Jason Isbell, Bartees Strange, and more to perform surprise sets to an energetic and enthusiastic audience.

As tradition dictates, Antonoff kicked off the show, this year performing a piano-driven rendition of Bleachers’ ‘Goodmorning’. He then reunited with his band for the debut of an unreleased festive track, ‘Merry Christmas, Please Don’t Call’.

As the show unfolded, Claud made a return appearance at the Ally Coalition Talent Show, delivering a performance of ‘Soft Spot’ from her 2021 album Super Monster alongside Antonoff’s father on guitar. The one-off duo also treated the audience to a cover of Taylor Swift’s ‘Betty’ from her lauded 2020 album Folklore.

Later in the evening, Bartees Strange took the stage to perform ‘Boomer’ from his 2020 debut album, Live Forever. In a particularly memorable moment, Bartees invited his mother, Donna, to the stage to showcase her operatic vocals in a rendition of George Gershwin’s classic ‘Summertime’ from the 1935 opera Porgy And Bess.

Shortly thereafter, Jason Isbell gave an emotive cover of John Prine’s ‘Hello In There’. Clairo then took the spotlight for a rendition of Vashti Bunyan’s ‘Winter Is Blue’ and an acoustic performance of her own song ‘Blouse’, accompanied by Jack Antonoff and Bartees Strange.
