Watch as Dave Grohl performs Nirvana’s ‘Nevermind’ classic ‘In Bloom’ live

Dave Grohl rolled out a rare performance of a Nirvana track when he joined Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue live on stage.

Grohl, who has made a significant effort not to play Nirvana tracks following Kurt Cobain’s death, joined the New Orleans jazz outfit on stage to perform classic Nevermind track ‘In Bloom’. In fact, the first time he ever performed a Nirvana track was when the band were included in the rock and roll Hall of Fame, 20 years after Cobain died.

Trombone Shorty, playing a gig at Los Angeles’ Voodoo Threauxdown Festival, surprised fans with the introduction of the former Nirvana drummer.
