Maya Hawke, the daughter of Uma Thurman, has been cast in the eagerly anticipated new Quentin Tarantino film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
Hawke, who also joined the forthcoming season 3 of hit TV show Stranger Things, played the role of Jo March in last year’s adaptation of Little Women as her profile within the industry grows from strength to strength.
The actress joins an ever-expanding cast which features the likes of Al Pacino, Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, Burt Reynolds and Dakota Fanning and recent addition James Marsden who has followed Tarantino into a supporting role.
On top of that, Emile Hirsch, Luke Perry, Julia Butters, Damian Lewis, Keith Jefferson, Clifton Collins Jr. and Nicholas Hammond will also be included.
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood tells the tale of TV actor Dalton and his stunt double Cliff Booth who embark on an odyssey to make a name for themselves in the film industry during the Charles Manson murders in 1969 Los Angeles.
Leonardo DiCaprio plays the role of Dalton and Brad Pitt takes on Cliff Booth. Other high-profile names like Margot Robbie will play Sharon Tate, Dakota Fanning will be Squeaky Fromme, Al Pacino Marvin Shwarz.
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood hits cinemas August 9th 2019 in conjunction with the 50th anniversary of the Tate Murders.
