The best selling UK vinyl records of 2017 is dominated by male major artists, it has been revealed.

Ed Sheeran tops the list with his album Divide, closely followed by Liam Gallagher’s debut solo album As You Were in second and closely behind is Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours. 

David Bowie makes two appearances, as does Nirvana and Guardians Of The Galaxy while Amy Winehouse was the only female to make the list.

Around 4.1 million vinyl albums were sold in the UK last year meaning vinyl now accounts for around 3% of all music consumed.
