We’ve awoken to the sad news that Peggy Lipton, famed actress for her roles in Twin Peaks and The Mod Squad has sadly died at the age of 72. Last night the actress lost her battle with colon cancer.

Lipton became a fan favourite as ‘flower child’ Julie Barnes, receiving four Emmy nominations as well as winning the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Drama. Lipton went on to record some incredible covers by Donovan and Laura Nyro.
