Tom Waits has announced that he will be re-issuing his first seven albums.
The albums, which have long been out of print, were originally released through Elektra Asylum Records though the ’70s. Now, however, the LPs will be re-mastered and re-released on vinyl through Anti-.
On top of the vinyl news, all seven albums will be made available on streaming sites on March 9, the same date that his 1973 debut record Closing Time is available on wax.
His historic 1973 debut album Closing Time will be re-released alongside Heart Of Saturday Night (1974), Nighthawks At The Diner (1975), Small Change (1976), Foreign Affairs (1977), Blue Valentine (1978) and Heartattack And Vine (1980).
