Tom Morello slams Donald Trump’s administration for allegedly using “Nazi mass murder slogan”

Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello has criticised President Donald Trump’s administration for using an alleged Nazi slogan at a recent event.

The slogan that Morello called out featured on a podium that the US Department of Homeland Security Secretary, Kristi Noem, stood behind at a press conference last week, which reads, “One of ours, all of yours.”

Notably, the press conference took place on January 8th, a day after ICE official Jonathan Ross killed Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis.

Morello took to Instagram on January 12th to allege, “BREAKING: Today the Trump admin quoted the Nazi mass murder slogan, ‘One of ours, all of yours.'”

The guitarist claimed in reference to the Lidice massacre, “Coined when an SS officer was killed and the Nazis murdered every male resident of the village in response.”

He then said of those who remain supporters of the current regime, “If there are any MAGA left after THIS, you have made an irrevocable choice.”

Morello also shared an image of him playing a guitar, which was emblazoned with “Fuck Trump“, as well as the following quote from Ernest Hemingway’s novel For Whom The Bell Tolls, “There are many who do not know they are fascists but will find it out when the time comes.”

Additionally, in a post on X, Morello elaborated on the Lidice massacre carried out by the Nazi regime in the Czech Republic in 1942 as an example of the alleged “One of ours, all of yours” policy. After an SS officer was killed, the entire Czech village was wiped out on Adolf Hitler’s orders.

Morello wrote of the war crime during World War II: “Men: Over 170 shot on the spot; others later executed in Prague. Women: Roughly 200 were deported to Ravensbrück concentration camp, where many died. Children: Most were separated from their mothers; 82 were gassed at the Chełmno extermination camp.”

His post continued, “A few deemed ‘racially pure’ were taken for ‘Germanization’ by SS families. The Obliteration: The village was burned, buildings were dynamited, and the area was bulldozed and replanted to literally erase it from the map.  YOU VOTED FOR THIS??”

In response to Morello’s allegations that “One of ours, all of yours” has connections to Nazi Germany, the Department of Homeland Security shut down the claims.

They told Billboard: “Calling everything you dislike ‘Nazi propaganda’ is tiresome. DHS will continue to use all tools to communicate with the American people and keep them informed on our historic effort to Make America Safe Again.”

While there is no evidence to suggest that “One of ours, all of yours” is a verbatim phrase used by the Nazi regime, they did enforce a policy of collective punishment.
