Watch Tom Cruise star in new trailer for ‘Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning’
The new trailer has arrived for Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning with Tom Cruise reprising the role of Ethan Hunt.
The franchise, which has been active since 1996, is now gearing up for the release of the eighth instalment, which is supposedly set to be the final film in the series. Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning will be released in cinemas internationally on May 21st, 2025.
In the high-octane trailer for the forthcoming movie, Cruise can be seen hanging on for dear life on a plane which provides a glimpse of what to expect in the full motion picture.
Cruise is joined in Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning by Hayley Atwell, Esai Morales, Henry Czerny, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Pom Klementieff, Vanessa Kirby, Hannah Waddingham, Nick Offerman, Katy O’Brian and Tramell Tillman.
“You gotta see the movie,” Cruise previously said to Empire when probed about the movie. The Hollywood A-lister continued: “It’s a hard thing for me to discuss at the moment, because it really is something that you have to experience.”
Mission: Impossible star Simon Pegg spoke to Far Out at Glastonbury last year and praised Cruise’s work on the movie, stating, “[Tom Cruise] shows no sign of stopping. The minute he can’t do what he wants to do, he’ll stop,” while also clarifying, “He’ll never want to short-change his audience.”
The movie is directed by Christopher McQuarrie who has helmed the franchise for the last decade since 2015’s Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation.
