Timothée Chalamet reveals he genuinely had sex with a peach for erotic scene

Wonka star Timothée Chalamet has revealed that he genuinely had sex with a peach while filming one of the erotic scenes in the film Call Me By Your Name back in 2017.

The movie starring Chalamet and Armie Hammer, who found himself disgraced after texts went public whereby the actor asked a former partner to remove her bottom ribs surgically so that he could eat them, is based on a novel of the same name.

The book in question features an erotic scene where a character masturbates via the use of a peach. “I was tempted to remove it from the script,” director Luca Guadagnino told Out. “In the book, it is so strong and explicit that I thought it was a metaphor, something that couldn’t exist in real life.”

The director continues: “I was struggling with the possibility that you can masturbate yourself with such a fruit.” So, he ventured to privately test out the plausibility of the sequence. When he confided this in Chalamet, the actor revealed, “I tried, too, and I already knew it worked.”

While Chalamet later told Night Viz that nudity on camera makes him feel anxious, he added: “With the peach, conversely, it’s just about focusing purely on the honesty of the moment and you kind of forget about the camera.”

In the end, he creatively relished the scene, adding: “It can actually be even more freeing than having a ton of expositional lines or a more classical over-the-shoulder shot, two-person dialogue scene.”

The Canadian actor has two parts currently in the works. Dune: Part Two has now been completed and is coming soon, while his role as the folk sensation Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown is about to start filming imminently.
