Thom Yorke teases new music through a mysterious London Underground advert

Radiohead’s Thom Yorke is taking teasing new music to whole new level with a recent advert which has appeared on the London Underground.

“Do you have trouble remembering your dreams?” an advert reads which appears on the London Underground with reports of it also popping up in Milan phone booths and the advert section of The Dallas Observer.

“It’s a feeling we at ANIMA know too well,” the advert continues. “You’re deep in a surreal world where you can be anybody you like, where you can do anything. And then you wake up, and the dream fades. It’s gone, like smoke on the breeze. Or is it?”

The advert adds: “Here at ANIMA we’ve built something we call a Dream Camera. Just call or text the number and we’ll get your dreams back. 07588733111.”

Upon calling the number, you’re greeted with a pre-recorded message which states: “Anima Technologies has been ordered by the authorities to cease and desist from undertaking its advertised business.”

After being given the opportunity to leave a message, the message then morphs into a rendition of ‘Not The News’, a previously unreleased song that Yorke has been playing on tour.

Below, you can see a performance of Yorke playing the song during his performance in Florence last year.
