Hold on a second, it looks like The Strokes are preparing to play a surprise set in Camden, London tomorrow (July 7th).
Speculation is rife after leading venue Dingwalls sent out a message via social media announcing a performance of a “very special one-off show” from ‘Venison’. On top of that, the traditional logo of The Strokes was adapted to suit the event.
For those unaware, Venison was the name The Strokes used they played a comeback show in London back in 2010. On top of that, the venue used hashtags of iconic songs by the band like ‘Last Night’ and ‘New York City Cops’.
“‘Venison’ return for a very special one-off London show, this is first come first served for tickets,” they tweeted. “Tickets will be available Saturday 7th July at Dingwalls between the hours of midday and 2pm. Max purchase of 8 tickets per person.”
