The Streets extend ‘A Grand Don’t Come For A Free’ tour with new UK and international dates
The Streets have confirmed an extension of their upcoming A Grand Don’t Come For Free tour in 2026.
Initially, Mike Skinner confirmed plans for a limited run of summer shows to celebrate the classic album in Margate, Manchester, London, Leeds, Ludlow, Essex and Norwich. Due to demand, more dates were previously added in Manchester and London, as well as two Bristol shows.
Now, The Streets have announced a huge extension to the run, which will begin in Dublin on February 15th at the Olympia Theatre, before shows later that month in Belfast, Edinburgh and Glasgow, ahead of a trip to Australia and New Zealand for six shows.
The first of three shows of a summer residency at the O2 Academy in Birmingham will restart the tour on June 6th. The Streets will also play hometown shows in Birmingham on July 17th and August 22nd.
Then, The Streets will take to the continent for a string of dates in mainland Europe, kicking things off in Paris on June 8th, followed by German dates in Oberhausen, Mannheim, Hamburg, Berlin, and Leipzig.
Next up is Austria for shows in Vienna and Linz, followed by the Netherlands in Groningen and Tilburg. The European leg will conclude on June 23rd in Brussels.
The Streets will then resume their UK dates in Bristol on June 25th. The newly announced gigs on the run are Cardiff, Scarborough, and Sheffield.
In a previous statement, Mike Skinner reflected upon A Grand Don’t Come For Free ahead of the shows next summer, sharing, “A Grand Don’t Come For Free was a moment in time — for me, and for everyone who grew up with it. I wrote it as a story from beginning to end, even studying screenwriting to shape it and without the faintest idea how people would react.”
He continued, “We’ve been looking for something bold to do with the live show, and we landed here: some tracks have never been played live, others haven’t surfaced in years.”
Skinner added of the tour: “It’s a new challenge to bring the whole journey to life on stage, but I have an incredible band and we always give everything every night. So I’m certain we’ll make finding out what happened to that thousand quid a party every night.”
