The Moldy Peaches confirm one-off reunion show

The Moldy Peaches have announced details of a one-off reunion show in New York.

The New York indie pioneers, which include singers Kimya Dawson and Adam Green, last reunited in 2022 and 2023 for a special set of shows.

Their 2023 tour was a brief five-stop tour, visiting Primavera Sound in Barcelona and Madrid, as well as headline shows at The Roundhouse in London and two dates at the Brooklyn Steel in New York.

Now, they have confirmed plans to perform a special acoustic show at Carnegie Hall in New York on June 26th, 2026, with support set to come from Paleface.

In a statement, The Moldy Peaches shared, “We’re keeping it real at Carnegie Hall. It’s been a long 30-year adventure from our first show busking at the Mt. Kisco carnival to this soon-to-be sold-out concert on one of the world’s most celebrated stages.”

They also jokingly said regarding the choice of venue and the age of their fanbase, who have been there since the start, “With tears of joy in our eyes, and rainbow melodies in our hearts, we’re giving our OG fans what they’ve been pleading for: a quiet show in a place with comfortable seats.”

The Moldy Peaches then thanked the younger fans for keeping their music alive, adding, “We’re really grateful for those of you who’ve been with us since the beginning, and to the kids on TikTok for keeping our songs relevant.”

The band concluded, “We’re happy to be back home in New York. We love you, peace.”

While The Moldy Peaches only have one full-length album, 2001’s self-titled effort, to their name, their music continues to connect with new generations, and they boast over 1.6 million monthly listeners on Spotify despite not releasing any music in more than 20 years.
