The Foetals – Fine

Track of the Day is coming straight out of Manchester and getting our week off to a flyer – all thanks to The Foetals and their debut single, ‘Fine’.

Some Far Out readers might recognise a familiar vocal on this one, with Jolan Lewis of The Pink Teens (fka Temple Songs) heading the project.

He’s joined by former Egyptian Hip Hop member Aldous RH and the pair have come up with a melodic piece of garage-rock that manages to retain a coolness and sound like an anthem simultaneously.

The track is the first glimpse of a full LP, Meet the Foetals, which will be released via PNKSLM in October.

Lewis recorded the whole album in two days in his Manchester studio in an attempt to create a perfect fusion between glossy 60s pop and DIY production.

Whether that sounds like a conflict of interests or not, the resulting record is a revelation that has certainly got us very excited indeed. Watch this space.

Listen to ‘Fine’ below and look out for the album on PNKSLM.
