The Cribs announce new album ‘Selling a Vibe’ with headline UK tour

The Cribs are set to return with their first studio album in five years, Selling a Vibe, and have revealed the lead single as well as a new UK tour along with it.

The Wakefield indie band, comprised of brothers Gary, Ryan, and Ross Jarman, will return with their first musical effort since Night Network in 2020, beginning the long-awaited new era with the lead single ‘Summer Seizures’.

The trio of brothers have endured a difficult ride since their last album, as their sibling connected was tested to the maximum during the enforced time apart during the pandemic. As such, Selling a Vibe captures the band at one of their most vulnerable moments in their two-decade tenure.

In reference to this, Gary Jarman commented: “I think as time has gone by our albums have become more and more open – and as such the songs on Selling A Vibe feel very personal. So it can be nerve wracking releasing them because they matter so much to us.”

He added: “I realised when I was writing the lyrics that all of the songs were really rooted in the only consistent thing – and the most valuable thing – and that was our relationship as family. The thing that has seen us through to this point.”

Subsequently, The Cribs are set to encompass this personal angle of songwriting with a deeply pop-infused sound, as they seek to maintain on the pulse of the current musical moment.

In celebration of the new album, the band are also set to embark on a new headline UK tour in March next year. However, before this, they will perform an intimate show at the Shacklewell Arms in London on August 23rd in aid of War Child, before heading to All Points East the following day and then on a tour of North America.

The Cribs’ new album, Selling a Vibe, will be released on January 9th, 2026.
