The Black Keys confirm release date of ‘No Rain, No Flowers’ and share title track

The Black Keys have confirmed their new album, No Rain, No Flowers, will be released on August 8th, 2025, and also shared the title track.

Earlier this year, The Black Keys provided fans with the first taste of what to expect from their forthcoming record with ‘The Night Before‘, which was later followed up by ‘Babygirl’, and now, ‘No Rain, No Flowers’ is the third cut from the LP to arrive.

With their last album, Ohio Players, The Black Keys were rejuvenated by working with a series of collaborators, such as Beck and Noel Gallagher. This approach has stayed with them on No Rain, No Flowers, which features work from songwriters Rick Nowels and Daniel Tashian as well as Scott Storch.

Frontman Dan Auerbach explains, “I had worked with Rick Nowels on Lana Del Rey’s Ultraviolence. We’d never really collaborated with a keyboard player or someone who writes on piano the way he does, but it clicked immediately.”

Meanwhile, drummer Patrick Carney also said, “We wanted to go straight to the source—into the room with people known for their songwriting. Daniel Tashian was one of the first people I met after moving to Nashville, and we’ve been fans of Scott Storch forever.”

The Black Keys will return to the United Kingdom for a series of outdoor shows in July. They will play at Millennium Square in Leeds, Castlefield Bowl in Manchester and Alexandra Palace Park in London with Miles Kane supporting the duo.

They are also embarking upon a lengthy series of outdoor dates in North America, which includes stops at iconic venues such as Forest Hills Stadium in New York and The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.

Last year, they cancelled plans for a US tour, which Carney told Rolling Stone was due to 10 shows being “in rooms that they shouldn’t have been in” and led to a split with their management. However, on a positive note, the unfortunate situation did provide them with time to create No Rain, No Flowers, which arrives in August.
