Telegram share cover of Brian Eno’s ‘Needles in the Camel’s Eye’

London-based four-piece Telegram is gearing up to release a new single on their own label, Gram Gram, set to drop on July 10th, 2015.

‘Aeons’, the follow-up to the recent single ‘Inside Outside’, is digitally available and will also be released on limited edition, seven-inch white vinyl. The flipside, of course, is the band’s unique take of ‘Needles In The Camel’s Eye’, from Brian Eno’s classic 1973 album Here Comes The Warm Jets

Speaking on Telegram’s take on the Eno track, frontman Matt says: “Eno once described Needles in the camel’s Eye as ‘an instrumental with singing on it’ and you can’t argue with that”.

He added: “Nor can we deny this be a favourite of ours. we played it so much from the record that I think we inevitably got bored of hearing it like that, so we started playing it live instead.”
