RSD ambassadors: spelling the end of the independent celebration
Money and monopoly.
Record Store Day is an annual music event celebrating independent record shops and vinyl culture around the world.
First launched in 2008, the event brings together artists, labels, collectors and music fans through exclusive releases, limited-edition vinyl pressings, in-store performances and special events. Record Store Day has played a major role in the modern vinyl revival, encouraging listeners to support local record shops while highlighting the cultural importance of physical music formats.
Featuring releases from artists across rock, pop, soul, jazz, electronic, punk and alternative music, it has become one of the most important dates in the music calendar.
Certain to become timeless.
Record Store Day will take place on April 18th.
15 exclusive vinyls will be sold to benefit the charity.
