The musician Mick Fleetwood called his sonic soulmate: “This ever-changing partner”
His right-hand man.

Peter Green was an English guitarist, singer-songwriter and founder of Fleetwood Mac whose expressive playing and emotionally rich songwriting made him one of the greatest blues musicians of all time.
After replacing Eric Clapton in John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers, Green formed Fleetwood Mac in 1967, leading the band through its early blues-rock era with classics including ‘Albatross’, ‘Black Magic Woman’, ‘Oh Well’, ‘Man of the World’ and ‘The Green Manalishi (With the Two Prong Crown)’. Revered for his lyrical guitar style, understated virtuosity and soulful compositions, Green influenced generations of guitarists, including Gary Moore, B.B. King, Eric Clapton and Joe Bonamassa.
The best kind of musical partner.
An unforgettable anthem…
Trouble in rock ‘n’ roll hell.
A blues classic from the psychedelic era.
Giving his idol a run for his money.
“The model he left is the one we’ve adhered to.”
