Hugh Grant was born in Hammersmith, London, to James Murray Grant, a carpet salesman and former British Army officer, and Fynvola Susan MacLean, a schoolteacher. Grant had a long-term relationship with actor Elizabeth Hurley from 1987 to 2000. He later had two children with Tinglan Hong before beginning a relationship with Swedish television producer Anna Elisabet Eberstein. The couple married in 2018 and have three children together, giving Grant five children in total.
