The 1970s artist Stevie Nicks called her “strongest” musical soulmate
A great partnership,

Christine McVie was an English singer, songwriter and keyboardist best known as a member of Fleetwood Mac.
Renowned for her warm, soulful voice and understated songwriting, she played a pivotal role in shaping the band’s classic sound during its most commercially successful era. McVie wrote and sang many of Fleetwood Mac’s biggest hits, including ‘Don’t Stop’, ‘Everywhere’, ‘Little Lies’, ‘Say You Love Me’ and ‘Songbird’, helping the group become one of the world’s best-selling bands.
Before joining Fleetwood Mac, she was a member of the British blues band Chicken Shack, where she established herself as a gifted vocalist and pianist. Widely admired for her melodic instincts and musicianship, McVie remains one of rock music’s most celebrated songwriters.
