The 1990s band Chris Cornell said was too good to reform: “It would be just total prostitution”
It would have to be perfect.

An integral part of the ’90s grunge movement, Chris Cornell was the lead singer and songwriter for the iconic rock band Soundgarden, later fronting the 2000s supergroup Audioslave and creating hit albums like Badmotorfinger (1991), Superunknown (1994), and Audioslave (2002).
As a solo artist, he debuted with the album Euphoria Mourning (1999) featuring the Grammy nominated single ‘Can’t Change Me’ and later also went on to write and perform ‘You Know My Name’ for the James Bond film Casino Royale.
Cornell tragically passed in 2017, shortly after performing with Soundgarden in Detroit.
It would have to be perfect.
The wrong set of values.
“Very charismatic and funny…”
The worst side of corporate rock.
The height of what he wanted.
Wanting that second wind.
Bringing everyone back together.
The highest energy possible.
