Boston-based rockers Quilt will be heading to the UK soon to perform a string of shows, including a much-anticipated set at Liverpool Psych Fest at the end of the month.
Their sound takes influence from 60s psychedelia and 70s prog, meandering from the ambient to the heavy in the blink of an eye. The latest stream documents a live session they recorded while in the remote Texan town of Marfa earlier this year shortly after performing at the first edition of Mexican Summer festival.
Live in Marfa was recorded straight to cassette in one take, after the band left a reel of two of their previous pieces carry on rolling. The results are pretty damn great, but if you need some persuading simply listen below.
