Stranger Things actor Joe Keery announces new album ‘Twenty Twenty’
Joe Keery, the American actor and musician best known for playing the role of Steve Harrington in hit Netflix show Stranger Things, has announced the release of his new album Twenty Twenty.
Producing music under his moniker ‘Djo’, Keery has moved away from his affiliation with Chicago based psychedelic rock band Post Animal to release a slightly dreamier solo sound and recently released the single ‘Chateau (Feel Alright)’.
The album, which will be released in September, will be backed by a number of intimate live performances in Los Angeles later in the month. To coincide with the album news, Keery has also shared his new single ‘Mortal Projections’ which will feature on the LP.
Taking to social media to announce the record, Keery said: “Here’s ‘Mortal Projections’, putting out an album on the 13th of September, it’s called Twenty Twenty, also setting up some shows in Los Angeles the 27/28th if you wanna come, more details coming, thanks for all the listens so far thanks thanks to you, and to your friends too.”
