Stephen Miller calls Robert De Niro a “sad, broken old man” in response to “Nazi” comments
Stephen Miller, the United States Homeland Security Advisor, has responded to Robert De Niro calling him a “Nazi”.
De Niro made his original comments during an appearance on MSNBC’s The Weekend on October 19th to promote the No Kings protests, which saw more than seven million come out to oppose Trump across the 50 states.
He told the hosts, “Now we have a would-be king who wants to take it away? King Donald I. Fuck that. We are rising up again this time. Nonviolently raising our voices to declare ‘No Kings’.”
The Hollywood icon also stated that “we can’t let up”, before explaining, “Cannot let up on him because he is not going to leave the White House. He does not want to leave the White House. Anybody thinks he, oh, he’ll do this, he’ll do that, it’s just deluding themselves.”
The Taxi Driver actor described the current regime as a “classic bully situation” and also pointed the finger at Miller’s role in the administration, stating, “We see it, we see it, we see it … all the time. He will not want to leave. He set it up with … I guess he’s the Goebbels of the cabinet, Stephen Miller. He’s a Nazi.”
Now, during an appearance on Hannity on the Fox News Channel, Miller has responded to the comments made by De Niro, stating, “Robert De Niro is a sad, broken old man who’s mostly enraged because he hasn’t made anything worth watching in at least 30 years.”
The prominent member of the Trump administration continued, “Probably the longest string of flops, failures, embarrassments. This man’s been degrading himself on camera with one horrific film after another for my entire adult life, and he’s not taken seriously by anybody, not by his family, not by his friends, not by his community.”
Miller concluded his attack by stating, “He’s a shell of a man, and everyone disregards everything he says.”
