St. Vincent has shared her new song ‘The Eddy’ which is taken from the brand new Netflix film of the same name.
The Eddy is the latest project from La La Land director Damien Chazelle and focuses on a jazz musician who runs a Parisian club called The Eddy.
A synopsis for the show reads: “The owner of a Paris jazz club gets tangled up with dangerous criminals as he fights to protect his business, his band and his teenage daughter.”
This is the second treat that Annie Clark has provided her fans with this week after she took to Instagram to share a cover of Led Zeppelin‘s ‘Dancing Days’ where she put her unique spin on the Zeppelin classic which sees her transform it into an acoustic ditty as well as giving it that St. Vincent touch.
She also recently announced a new podcast series called Shower Sessions which has been made in partnership with Progressive and described as being “half interview, half concert series, 100% in a bathroom”.
Clark surprisingly came up with the idea before the pandemic changed civilisation as we knew it and forced everyone into quarantine. The musician conceived the concept as a way to interview rising musicians and hear them perform live in a setting that felt relaxed.
