St Vincent announces new live album from London’s Royal Albert Hall

St Vincent has announced that she is set to release a new live album of her show at the Royal Albert Hall in London from last year.

The album, titled Live in London!, is a recording of the singer’s BBC Proms concert, which took place at the beginning of September last year, where she was backed by the 60-piece Jules Buckley Orchestra.

It spanned 19 songs from her illustrious career, right from her debut Marry Me in 2007, right up until her most recent record, All Born Screaming, which was released in 2024.

In a four-star review of the show when it was staged, Far Out’s Lucy Harbron described the night as “stunning”, before adding that conductor Buckley was the ultimate star as he “has been the man at the conductor stand as his passion for combining new music with classical sounds is obvious, and his desire to make that both accessible and stunning is palpable.”

On top of the news of the live album, St Vincent, real name Anne Clark, has also added seven new shows to her North American orchestral tour, played with local orchestras at each stop with Buckley conducting all dates.

The tour, which stretches from March 19th in Spicewood, Texas, all the way to August 2nd at the iconic Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, will see the singer bring the new live album to life once more.

Tickets for all the new dates will go on sale from March 20th at 10am local time.

Amid her upcoming American tour, St Vincent is also set to feature on the new solo album from Beatles legend Ringo Starr. With further collaborations from Billy Strings and Sheryl Crow, Long Long Road is set for release on April 20th.
